"...Goldman Thibodeaux at his musical best, playing the 10-button diatonic accordion, and singing in his soulfully deep bluesy voice. Rounding out the trio are his good friends. Steve Bing is a talented "Creole-style" fiddler, accordion player and singer. Donna Bing plays various things found in the kitchen (washboard, triangle and spoons) and can be heard throughout this recording not only playing one of those kitchen implements but at the same time dancing on a wooden board. You won't hear anything modern on this recording. Also, there is no guitar, bass, drums, or anything electric. With just a few acoustic instruments, and the human voice, they have captured what the music of the old-time house dances sound like in southwest Louisiana"--Container.
